Privacy Policy

Bella Life collects the information needed to run the app: your account email, display name, sign-in records, app settings, language, and theme preferences.

When you use the product, Bella Life stores your challenges, habits, completions, workout routines, logged workouts, custom exercises, body weight, body measurements, AI builder messages, learned preferences, coaching summaries, and privacy-safe app signals.

We use your data to sign you in, sync your account, show progress, remember preferences, generate AI-assisted challenges or workout plans, and provide support.

Bella memory is used to avoid asking for the same details repeatedly and to make coaching feel continuous. Cross-app signals, if connected later, are designed to be small boolean facts such as a habit being satisfied, not raw financial transactions or balances.

Workout, habit, and body measurement data is used for your personal tracking and app features. It is not sold.

Bella Life runs on Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1 for hosting and database storage. Authentication is handled with better-auth.

Resend sends the magic-link sign-in emails. If you sign in with Google or Apple, that provider processes the sign-in request. Stripe (web) and Apple or Google through RevenueCat (in the app) process subscription and treat purchases; see Payments below.

When you use Bella AI, your messages and the context needed to answer them (your saved profile such as age range, sex, height and weight, recent workouts, and learned preferences) are sent to Anthropic to generate the reply. We do not use your data to train our own models.

Analytics is optional and off by default. Nothing is loaded or sent to our analytics provider unless you switch on “Share anonymous usage analytics” in Settings, and you can switch it off again at any time.

If you switch it on, we use PostHog (US cloud) to see which pages are viewed and a few actions such as finishing a workout or viewing the paywall. Events are linked only to your random account id, not your email or name. We never send workout contents, measurements, or AI messages to PostHog, and we do not use advertising or tracking across other companies’ apps or websites.

Subscriptions and treat bags are processed by Stripe on the web, or by Apple or Google in the app, with RevenueCat managing in-app purchase status. These providers receive your account email or id and purchase details. We never see or store your card number.

We do not sell your personal data and Bella Life shows no advertising.

If you turn on daily reminders in the native app, Bella Life schedules local notifications on your device. You can turn them off in Settings or your device notification settings.

You can delete your account from Settings, instantly. Deletion removes your profile, sessions, sign-in accounts, challenges, completions, workouts, routines, custom exercises, measurements, settings, unused treat balance, AI usage records, learned memories, coaching summaries, and app signals. A web (Stripe) subscription is cancelled automatically; an App Store or Google Play subscription must be cancelled in your store account.

What we keep: records of payments you made (treat bag purchases and subscription records: product, amount of treats, dates, and the payment provider’s transaction and customer references). We are required to keep accounting records, so these are not deleted, but they are anonymised when your account is deleted: they are no longer linked to your account, email or name, and we remove your email and name from our Stripe customer record.

At our other providers: Stripe, Apple and Google keep their own payment records under their own policies. We delete your RevenueCat customer record where we can; if you want your analytics profile removed from PostHog, email us with your account email and we will do it.

Your account data is kept while your account is open and removed when you delete it.

Anonymised payment and transaction records: 7 years after the transaction, then deleted. Backups of our database: up to 30 days after deletion, then they roll off. Expired sign-in links and sessions, and daily AI usage counters: removed within 90 days.

If we receive a valid request from authorities or need to protect against fraud or abuse, we may keep what the law allows for as long as required.
